where do you travel?
I am based in Ilkley, Yorkshire and I cover all surrounding areas such as Leeds, Harrogate, Manchester, Cheshire, The Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire, Sheffield and further afield. I have worked for brides in Newcastle, The Cotswolds and in Spain, Europe.

when should i book my trial
This again is your decision. I'd recommend a trial once you have chosen what you will be wearing on the day. Necklines and hair accessories play a big part in the decision about how you would like your hair.
i have a large bridal party
Large Bridal parties usually require me to bring an assistant to help ensure we stick to the timetable.
There is not normally an additional charge for this, unless your wedding is abroad.
i'm not sure about my final outfit
From personal experience I realise that your dress, hair accessories, jewellery and bridal shoes can take forever to find!
If you think you might wear a veil, birdcage veil, hair vine, veil blusher or a hair accessory but you're unsure then don't worry. I have a few samples available for us to use at your trial so that you can get a feel for how they might look.
I also keep some flowers and flower crowns and flowers garlands in case you're thinking about incorporating them into your style.
i have short hair, what are my bridal hair options?
Firstly, I love short hair! Being a busy mum to a toddler has seen my own hair get progressively shorter and shorter, and there's so many options and ways to get creative.
With short hair I use products and techniques that will keep your look in place all day and evening. If you would like to create additional volume or length we can also look at using extensions creatively.
how soon should i book a hairstylist for my wedding?
This is of course entirely up to you, but it's not unusual for freelance stylists to be booked 1 or 2 years in advance of your date. As many more wedding venues are now licensed to hold ceremonies, people are getting married wherever they wish. This often means that your salon hair stylist might not be available at the venue you choose so a Freelance wedding hair stylist is a good option.

Seriously, this is you opportunity for you to go through as many styles as you would like. I usually have a 30 minute consultation at the start to really understand your day ( I promise I'm not being nosey!!)
id like to change my hair for the evening, can this be done?
Absolutely!
Some of the Brides I have worked with have more than one dress for their big day and would like a hair change to compliment a different look.
Just let me know when you're booking if this is something you'd like to look into.
how should i plan timings for the big day?
In my consultation at your trial I will ask you about your specific timings. I usually work backwards from the timing of your ceremony ( taking into consideration any travel).
I will also contact your bridal make up artist to ask about their schedule on the day. Making sure everyone has ample time is one of my top priorities.
